Babies are meant to grow and baby clothes to last. The cute Omppu frill bodysuit features carefully considered details that make the garment comfortable to wear and a delight to the eyes. This long-sleeved bodysuit features a vibrant applique design and two pretty frills around the waist. There are poppers on the shoulders that make it easy to put on. With the reversible cuffs and double poppers at the crotch, you can extend the service life of the bodysuit as the garment grows with the child up to the next size. 

The bodysuit is made of soft and safe organic cotton tricot that feels comfortable even on sensitive skin. The cultivation of organic cotton makes efficient use of rain water and employs organic fertilisers and pesticides. A touch of elastane gives the material nice elasticity.

Baby clothes must represent the cutting edge of product development. From the perspective of clothes, the baby's everyday life is filled with many kinds of surprises. Therefore, the garment must withstand all kinds of twists and turns, and be safe to the baby and their parents. For us at Finlayson, durable baby clothes mean that the clothes are of high quality, easy to combine, comfortable to wear and easy to care for. We want to make baby clothes that the baby is comfortable in. The garment should also be easy to put on and take care of. The Arkismi collection was inspired by Finnish everyday life.

Story of the Omppu pattern: Originally designed by Aini Vaari, Omppu dates back to 1972. Fifty years later, Osmi Koskinen updated the pattern. Aini Vaari also loved the design and was delighted when the pattern was back in production. The apples got a slightly different rhythm in the redesign, and at the same time, someone bit a piece off one of them. Someone even claimed to have seen a worm. Could be true!
