Between lush flowers, there are many traces of life. The round stains left by glassware are traces of happy moments that will live on in our memories. Designed by Johanna Rautiainen, the Traces of Life pattern boldly celebrates imperfection. This sateen duvet cover set is made from a fabric consisting of two different materials. The fabric is 50% Tencel, a lyocell fiber that is one of the most ecological textile materials in the world. Tencel is made of FSC certified pulp. The production consumes considerably less water and energy, and in addition, the biodegradable chemicals used in the fiber production can be reused. The remaining 50% is cotton, of which 25% is recycled. We are always looking for substitutes for cotton and ways to increase the amount of recycled materials we use. Tencel feels luxuriously soft against the skin. It makes the fabric wonderfully cool, soft and smooth. Cotton, for its part, improves the breathability and durability of the fabric. Sateen weave was the natural choice for the new material, because it gives a beautiful subtle sheen to the fabric and reproduces the glow of the colours. The thread count (TC) is 200 TC, which is a high thread count. The higher the thread count, the denser the fabric. The density of the fabric makes sateen particularly well suited for people with allergies. To keep the sheets beautifully shiny and soft, iron or press them in a mangle after washing. Hand slits at the top corners of the Traces of Life duvet cover make it easier to put the duvet cover on the duvet. The product has been granted the STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX certificate, indicating that the product does not contain harmful chemicals and is safe to use. Comes with a five-year guarantee
