It was the year 1969, Finlayson introduced a design competition for the students of the Helsinki Industrial Arts School. The story does not tell us whether other great designs were born as well, but one thing we do know, and that it that the competition definitely wasn’t fruitless. Without it, we would not have the Elefantti print, the long-lasting classic that is sympathetic yet tasteful. 

The Elefantti apron is made of 100% rib weave cotton, which is firm and rather thick. We are always looking for substitutes for cotton and ways to increase the number of recycled materials we use. The product has been granted the STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX certificate, indicating that the product does not contain harmful chemicals and is safe to use.
