Hand towel

At Finlayson, we decided to really put our hearts into reimagining our collection of Moomin towels. We created storylines between pairs of hand towels and bath towels, gave the original illustrations more space to shine and adjusted the colours to bring them closer to the original tones used by Tove Jansson. What’s more, we also changed the material: all Moomin towels are now GOTS-grade organic cotton!
The Hattifatteners bath towel and hand towel feature illustrations from the first Moomin comic book, in which a large group of Hattifatteners come to visit Moomin House demanding cocktails.
The jacquard-woven towel is durable yarn-dyed quality. The quality of these towels is the product of long-term development efforts: a towel in which plied yarn is combined with a carefully thought-out weave structure, with all features polished to perfection. They have just the right feel, they dry well and they are durable. The loop is on the long side of the towel.
Here’s a tip: Get Moomin towels with different characters for each member of your family to make it easy for everyone to know which hand towel is theirs, and increase the chances of bath towels left to dry finding their way back to their owners.
The towel comes with a five-year guarantee and STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX and GOTS certificates. Together, these prove that the product is of high quality and made from organic cotton. It is safe and does not contain harmful chemicals.
