These linen pillowcases are made to last, experience and see it all, from one generation to the next. On our mission to create the world’s most durable sheets, we turned to the Shroud of Turin that has lasted to this day. As a result, the cloth of the Jesus sheets was woven from linen with the extremely durable twill weave, just as the original Shroud. Special attention was paid to the finishing of the product. Any details that might not endure longer than the normal life cycle of a product of this type have been removed or replaced with more durable solutions. For instance, all stitching is reinforced, and the care instructions are embroidered directly in the fabric. The pillowcases are not the traditional envelope style. The unique 50-year warranty is based on carefully considered materials and details. The warranty covers the product’s normal use as bed linen, regularly maintained according to the care instructions.

As a material, linen is a beautiful, durable and environmentally friendly natural fibre. Linen is a heavy fabric, smooth and stiffer than other fabrics because it has a low thread count (TC), a special characteristic of linen. This is why linen absorbs moisture well but also dries quickly. As a breathable fabric, linen keeps cool when it’s hot and warms you when the temperature drops. Linen sheets do not pill but, in fact, will look as good as new even after years of heavy use. The more the fabric is washed, the more comfortable and softer it will get. Regular ironing or mangling after washing decreases excessive fibres falling off the product, a trait of linen fabrics.
