The stunning Katse oven mitten is the choice of the quality-conscious. Its printed sunflower design comes from the pen of Riina Heinonen. The brilliant yellow flowers create a sense of a brighter future as they gaze persistently towards the sun. The language of flowers says: we won’t be discouraged!

 With the Katse oven mitten, you can grab a hot pot without worry, as the comfortably flexible wadding can withstand high temperatures. The product has been tested to provide adequate protection against contact heat. There is a handy hanging loop on the side. 

The fabric of the Katse oven mitten is made of 100 % rib-weave cotton, which makes the fabric thick and snug. 50 % of the cotton is recycled. We are constantly working to increase the amount of recycled materials in our products.

The product is CE certified. The Finlayson oven mitts and kettle holders have been tested according to their purpose of use only in terms of contact with heat and have been given the level 2. The oven mitt and kettle holder have been designed to protect a person's hand from hot dishes and to prevent any burns when cooking either on the stove or in the oven in a home environment. The products are not designed to protect from open flame.
