Hand towel

Misabel appears in two Moomin stories; in the comic book Moominmamma's Maid and in the novel Moominsummer Madness. Pimple, on the other hand, only appears in comic books.

Misabel, who is a bit paranoid and has low self-esteem, moves into the Moomin house with her dog Pimple as a housekeeper, and the Moomins take it upon themselves to instill confidence in them. Snorkmaiden gives Misabel a Hollywood makeover, and Moominmamma removes Pimple’s muzzle. Misabel dares to meet her big sister, who used to scare her as a child, and Pimple finds a new friend.

Our Moomin towels are more responsible than ever. The new towels will be made using organic cotton and the products will also be GOTS certified. The update is also significant in terms of storytelling, since the space surrounding the Moomin characters makes the illustrations more vibrant, and the dialogue between different towels is seamless. In a way, the towels continue each other's stories. The update was designed by Liisa Suurla in cooperation with Riina Heinonen and everyone at the Finlayson Atelier. In fact, the update became a matter of the heart for the entire Atelier.
