    Designed by Kaisla Kujanpää, the Ohikiitävät pattern is one of the results of the textile design competition organised by Finlayson together with its Japanese licensing partner, Felissimo, to celebrate Finlayson’s 200th anniversary. The theme was to discover beautiful things that you would not want to disappear from the world. Four designs from thousands of high-quality competition entries were included in the collection.

    The Ohikiitävät pattern describes the beautiful meadow flowers and grasses that blossom and grow on roadsides during the summer, which we often pass by without really noticing. Ohikiitävät reminds us of the fleeting beauty and biodiversity of plants.

    The Ohikiitävät duvet cover set is made of 100% cotton sateen. The subtle sheen and smoothness of the fabric is achieved with the sateen weave. To keep the sheets beautifully shiny and soft, iron or press them in a mangle after washing. The thread count (TC) of cotton sateen is 228 TC, which is a high thread count. The higher the thread count, the denser the fabric. The density of the fabric makes cotton sateen particularly well suited for people with allergies. The convenient hand slits in the top of the duvet cover make it easier to pull it over the duvet. The set includes a duvet cover and a pillowcase.

    You can rest easy at night, as we never compromise on the quality of the cotton and the product, or the transparency of the production chain. This product is made of 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton, the cultivation of which makes efficient use of rain water, and employs organic fertilisers and pesticides. The GOTS certificate makes the organic cotton easily traceable and we know the entire production chain. The product has been granted the STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX certificate, indicating that the product contains no harmful chemicals and is safe to use. The product comes with a five-year guarantee.
