The Vegi quilts are part of an all new Vegi product collection, featuring better-than-before cotton, naturally eco-friendly hemp and plant dye in earthy colours. The surface-structured Vegi quilt adds softness with a natural, timeless elegance to the interior. The quilt contains 65% cotton and 35% hemp.
If you love linen, hemp is well worth a try. Hemp is similar to linen, and has been used for thousands of years in making textiles and clothing. Hemp is more high-yielding than flax, and hemp cultivation improves the quality of the soil.
The quilts are dyed with 100% plant-based dyes sourced from food industry side streams: the brown comes from almond peel and the greenish tone from saw palmetto.
We continuously strive to improve the sustainability of our products. Every day, we replace some of the ordinary cotton in our products with more sustainable materials. The emissions of this product have been successfully reduced by using hemp and plant dyes.
The size of the quilt is 130 x 170 cm. The product has been granted the STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX certificate, indicating that the product does not contain harmful chemicals and is safe to use.
