Although it would be impossible and unnecessary to rank the world’s saunas in order of importance, it has to be said that the sauna at Tamminiemi, formerly the official residence of the President of Finland, is of particular historical significance. It is likely to have been the place where, at a turbulent time in history, important decisions were made that allowed peace and prosperity to continue to be enjoyed in other saunas all over Finland. We have designed our Tamminiemi collection in tribute to the sauna and to the values of mutual understanding and goodwill.
