These terms and conditions shall apply to all online purchases made from Finlayson Oy (business ID: 1832849-3) via the website The customer placing the order must be at least 18 years of age. Our products are not sold for resale.

Customer is bound by the terms and conditions in effect at the time of placing the order, and customer must familiarise themselves with the terms before placing an order. Finlayson Oy reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions.

Product Prices and Availability

A product is available for purchase at the online store when it can be added to the shopping cart. We always aspire to show the product availabilities as accurately as possible, but occasional errors in the product quantities may occur. In such events we refund the undelivered product/products and inform the customer of this. We reserve the right to price changes.

Delivery Method and Costs

UPS home delivery

Home delivery of the order costs 19.90€ (EU) or 29.90€ (non EU). If the value of the order is over 109€, the home delivery will always be free of charge. UPS will contact the customer, when the order has been taken in to delivery. The order delivery of the order is attempted for the maximum of seven days, after which the parcel will be returned to the sender.

Delivery to Sweden

Green delivery to your doorstep on weekdays between 17:00 - 22:00. You can choose day and time, and live track on Mobile App or SMS tracking link. Can be delivered outside your door if you’ re not home.

Budbee box 4,90€
Pick-up with a pin-code.

If the value of the order is over 99€, the delivery will always be free of charge.

PostNord MyPack 5,90€
You will receive a text message, email or a notification on the PostNord app when the parcel is available for collection from the nearest service point. PostNord MyPack Collect for the order costs 5,90€. If the value of the order is over 99€, the delivery will always be free of charge. The shipment will usually arrive at the pick-up point within 2–6 business days.


Payment methods

Credit card

You can pay with credit card at online store section “Credit card payment”. This is payment service provided by Stripe, at which the accepted cards are Visa, Master Card and American Express. The payment will be charged when the order is dispatched from the warehouse, but the authorization hold is visible on the payment card immediately.


You can also pay your purchase through Paypal.

Payment agreement is always between the customer and the provider of the payment service.


You will receive an order confirmation to the email address specified on the order once you have placed the order. The order confirmation indicates the ordered products and their prices. In case of product quantity errors or technical defects, Finlayson Oy reserves the right to cancel the order or make a partial delivery.

Delivery time

We seek to deliver the order within approximately 2-7 working days. During larger campaigns, such as during sales and under other exceptional circumstances, the delivery time may be prolonged. We aim to always inform clearly about a prolonged delivery time.

Change or cancellation of an order

When the order has been placed, no changes to it can be made. If you wish to cancel the order, contact our customer service by email at If the order has moved on to collecting, it cannot unfortunately be stopped. Order that has not been picked up from the chosen place of delivery will return to the sender, which will lead to a return and the payment will be refunded to the customer according to the original payment method. If the customer contacts the customer service within one week of the return of the uncollected order, the order can be redelivered to the customer. The delivery costs will not be refunded if the order returns to the sender uncollected.  


You can return any unused products of your order within 30 days of the order. Regardless of the method of return, the payment will be refunded according to the original payment method.

Please note that fabrics sold by the meter may not be returned nor exchanged as they are cut to order once the order is received.


If there is a fault in a product ordered, you can contact the quality control at  We aim to always resolve complaints promptly. In dispute cases Finnish law and the Consumer Protection Act apply.

Product reviews in the online store

All product reviews on our website are requested from our customers who have made a purchase. There are two ways for our customers to leave a product review.  

1) After the customer has placed an order in our online store, we will send the customer an email asking them to review the product they have purchased. If the customer reviews the product and sends us his/her review, it will be published on the product page of the online store and will be visible to other customers. In the review, we will show the customer's first name and the first letter of their surname. The customer can also choose not to have their name displayed in the review; in which case we will display the review anonymously. 

2) The customer also has the option to write a review on the product page in the online store. To leave a review on the product page, the customer must provide an email address. To confirm the authenticity of the customer's review, we use the customer's email address to link it to the order information.
