In the Japanese art of kintsugi, broken pottery is repaired using gold, which turns a broken object into something unique and even more beautiful than an intact one. Loisto, designed by Osmi Koskinen, is a tribute to this tradition that places value on imperfection.
Combined with luxurious cotton sateen, the Loisto pattern creates a perfect environment for peaceful rest – you will feel pampered by the soft and smooth feel of cotton sateen. Complete the set with individual solid colour pillowcases if you prefer using more than just one pillow.
The beautiful shine and smoothness of the cotton sateen is achieved with the sateen weave. You will be able to keep the sheets shiny and soft by ironing or pressing them with a mangle after washing. The thread count (TC) of cotton sateen is 228 TC, which is a high thread count. The higher the thread count, the denser the fabric. Openings for hands at the top corners of the duvet cover make it easier to put the duvet cover on the duvet.
We do not compromise on the quality of the cotton or the transparency of the supply chain in the slightest. That is why we only use organic cotton. This product is made from 100% organic cotton and is GOTS certified.
