With this oven mitt, you can safely handle hot kitchenware. Finlayson’s oven mitts have a CE marking, which means that they have been tested for adequate protection against contact heat.

The Fellows design by Sami Vull is part of our Tom of Finland collection, a tribute to the art of Touko Laaksonen, a.k.a. Tom of Finland. The collection’s universal message of freedom and mutual respect means that everyone has the right to be themselves and live life to the fullest.

The exterior material of the Fellows oven mitt is 100% rib weave cotton, a firm and fairly thick fabric. The grip surface of the oven mitt is made of black fabric for added practicality. The handy Easy Care treatment makes the fabric easier to iron after washing. The wadded filling is very flexible and heat resistant. Hang the oven mitt on display by its loop. Complete the set with Fellows potholders and other kitchen textiles from the same series.

The product has been granted the STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX certificate, indicating that the product does not contain harmful chemicals and is safe to use.

The product is CE certified. The Finlayson oven mitts and kettle holders have been tested according to their purpose of use only in terms of contact with heat and have been given the level 2. The oven mitt and kettle holder have been designed to protect a person's hand from hot dishes and to prevent any burns when cooking either on the stove or in the oven in a home environment. The products are not designed to protect from open flame.
