Designed by Riina Heinonen, Tiuhta is a lively yet calm pattern whose vertical stripes are reminiscent of inkle weaving. The timelessness of Tiuhta makes it a perfect fit with both modern and traditional styles. Tiuhta recalls the era when Finlayson was all about checkered and striped patterns. Inspired by the patterns in our archives, we have created a new collection of modern checkered and striped patterns we call Ruutu ja Raita. The secret behind the soft and airy feel of Tiuhta towels is untwisted thread, which makes the towel feel lovely and light. At the same time, it has all of the features you expect from a good towel: it is 100% organic cotton, it is good for drying and it dries fast. You’ll love wrapping yourself up in this towel due to its larger-than-usual size of 90 x 180 cm. The loop is on the long side of the towel. The towel comes with a five-year guarantee and STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX and GOTS certificates. Together, these prove that the product is of high quality and made from organic cotton. It is safe and does not contain harmful chemicals.
