The floral pattern of the Toive bath towel is designed by Riina Heinonen. In the print, pure white poppies fill a huge field with their blooms. Standing upright, the delicate flowers convey a wish for harmony and lasting peace in the world.
The beautifully shimmering Toive towel is yarn-dyed and jacquard-woven. It is made from a layered yarn that combines two different materials. The towel is made of 80 % cotton, 50 % of which is recycled. It also contains 20 % Lyocell Tencel™, a lyocell fiber that is one of the most environmentally friendly textile materials. Thanks to Lyocell Tencel™, the Toive towel feels luxuriously silky on the skin. The smooth, wonderfully soft towel has excellent absorbency.

I was pleased to find the Finlayson Toive towels available for shipping to the U.S. I brought a few home from my Finland trip last fall and loved the quality. It is very easy to find Marimekko here, even in Texas, but Finlayson is a bit harder to find. The quality is great, the towels are nice and long but my favorite thing that is lacking in American made towels, is the hanging loop!
